How these times are worked out

Tide matches solve approximate threshold crossings between the assigned station’s high and low predictions. The same interpolation is used in the tide chart. Gaps and times beyond the returned predictions remain uncovered.

Wind matches use consecutive hourly forecast samples. The sun must be approximately 3° above the horizon for daylight matches; local terrain and cloud cover are not included.

Matching your conditions does not establish surf quality, slack currents, beach access, or a safe crossing. Check the spot report and local information before going.

Saved conditions stay on this device. Open them to preview the latest available forecast.
